Jump Start Breakfast – Cheesy Egg White Pita & Shake

Cheesy Egg White Pita

In a bowl:

  •  Scramble 1/3 cup liquid egg whites
  •  2 tablespoons shredded reduced-fat cheddar
  •  1 teaspoon chopped jalapeño pepper (optional)
  • freshly ground black pepper

In a medium skillet:

  • Cook egg mixture in 2 tsp olive oil over medium heat for 2 minutes

Serve mixture in: a warmed whole-wheat pita

Strawberry Shake:

  • 1 cup vanilla soymilk blended
  •  1 1/4 cups whole, unsweetened frozen strawberries

Nutrition Facts: 396 calories, 15 g fat (3 g saturated), 45 g carbs, 8 g fiber, 24 g protein
